The Cinco de Mayo Concours d'Caffeine on Main Street!
Our 2019 schedule is set - May 5th on Main Street and Sept 29 at the Westport (Saugatuck) Train Station. May 5 Our first downtown event will be held on Main Street from Post Road to Avery Place from 8am to Noon. We are joining forces with the Downtown Merchants Association, the merchants on Main and nearby, and the Westport Weston Chamber of Commerce to make this an exciting event on Main St. Concours Exhibit  Our Concours exhibit will be convertibles and open cars across the years.  We invite owners to submit their vehicle for consideration.  REGISTRATION will open February 15.  We will select 25 vehicles from those submitted to be invited to participate in the Concours exhibit.  Registration is FREE. Cars & Coffee Our Cars & Coffee will be located along Main Street between Post Rd and Avery Place.  Once Main St has been fully occupied, overflow parking will be in the Elm St municipal parking lot.  Volunteers will be there to help direct you to parking. The first 50 who REGISTER will get a special gift bag. Registration is FREE. Cars & TournThis year our tour will be a rally to a Cinco de Mayo themed lunch.  As always, the tour route will be developed by Rich and Jean Taylor of Vintage Rallies.  Tour vehicles will staged on Elm St.  The Tour departs at approximately 11:45 after a drivers' briefing.  Tour REGISTRATION will open on February 15.  Tour registration fee is $75 including lunch for two.  Additional guest lunches may be purchased for an extra $25 each. About Main Street  Vehicles enter for the event from the Post Road onto Main Street.  Main Street will be one way all the way to Avery place.  The Concours exhibit will be in the Brooks Plaza parking lot.  Cars & Coffee will be on Main Street.  Guest parking will be in the municipal lots on Avery Place and Parker Harding.   Sept 29 Our Fall event will return to the Westport Train Station (Saugatuck).  More information about event specifics will come in the early summer. This Car show is a memorial Car show for a former automotive teacher at Southington High School, Mr. Beeney, who passed away after fighting cancer. All funds raised will be used to award a scholarship to a student planning on pursuing a technical related career. There will be food, raffles, 50/50 raffle, goody bags, music, and trophies. 4th Annual Supreme Auto Charity Car Show
Pleasant View Cafe, 452 South Road, Somers, CT Supreme Auto Service Center (“Supreme Auto”) will be holding its 4th annual car show on May 19, 2019 at 10:00 AM (Rain Date: June 2, 2019). This year's show will be held at Pleasant View Café located at 452 South Road (Route 83) in Somers, Connecticut. This year’s charity beneficiary is America’s VetDogs. America’s VetDogs is a non-profit charitable organization from Smithtown, New York that provides service dogs FREE of charge to veterans and first responders with disabilities.  Many wounded service men and women wish to receive a service dog of their own.  These service dogs help individuals with PTSD, hearing loss, vision impairment and other mental and physical disabilities. They do this all at NO COST to the individual. They have a Puppy Prison Program that allows inmates at Osborn Correctional Institute in Somers, CT, along with several other prisons on the east coast, to raise and train puppies during the week. They have also approved several families in our community to raise and train these puppies on the weekends. They are always in need of volunteers.

The 27th Annual Bug-A-Fair Connecticut Volkswagen Association 27th Annual Bug-A-Fair
will be held at the Terryville Fairgrounds, Town Hill Road on Father’s day from 9am to 3pm.
40 Show Car classes with 1st-3rd Place awards for both aircooled and watercooled VWs plus
Special Choice awards and Best of Show trophies totaling over 140 awards! Car registration opens at 9am, 
judging starts at 12 noon and awards at 3pm. The show also has a huge swap meet with over 75 vendors
selling used and new VW items. Food all day Sunday provided by the Terryville Lions Club. 
Camping Saturday night for those who want to get a jump on the festivities. All proceeds
go to the Terryville Lions Club.

Wallingford  Connecticut Street Rod Association Presents: Connecticut Dragway Reunion…The Connecticut Street Rod Association presents another night to remember. The Connecticut Dragway Reunion will once again be held on June 18th at the New Life church at the top of High Hill in Wallingford, CT, Exit 15 off of I-91. Gates officially open at 5:00pm for participants, with a ‘cacklefest’ scheduled for 7:00pm. Participants with cars enter free, but can make a donation at the gate if they so desire. The 10th Annual Ross Jenacaro Antique and Classic Car Show will be held on Sunday June 23rd (Rain date June 30th) at 4 Corporate Drive, Shelton CT. All profits will support The Arthur C. Luf Children’s Burn Camp in Union CT. As usual there will be great music, food and raffle prizes with special raffle prizes for anyone registers a vehicle at the show. We will be awarding some of the nicest trophies in the area and this year a special trophy will be awarded to the car club with the best participation. We have no cut off year and all vehicles are welcome. THE BIG ONE 5th Annual Newtown Reach Car Show
 8 AM-4-PM 

Held on the beautiful, historic, Fairfield Hills campus in Newtown, this car show is once again voted one of the best car shows in Connecticut.  All cars and trucks are welcome.  No cut off year.  This includes:  Antique, classic cars, hot rods, muscle cars, super cars, race cars, sports cars,  all special interest  cars including military vehicles.  Registration, $15., spectators, $3. Port 5 Naval Vets will serve food all day.  Two DJ’s, DJ Dom and Mr. Car Show DJ, Seth Carley will provide music with special guests “Potters Field” also performing, Live Band . Port 5 Naval Veterans will honor our veterans and 911 victims at a ceremony at noon. We appreciate support from Connecticut Seaport Car Club, Round Town Cruisers, and Cruising’ East Car Club Over 75 outstanding trophies awarded. May be the best on your shelf . Super door prizes and games for the kids!. All proceeds go directly to Newtown Reach to be used for their free Summer Camp program. Reach provides the children we serve with a consistent and supportive program in a safe environment.

Bristol – Connecticut Street Rod Association Presents: 28th Annual CSRA Fall Swap Meet… (http://www.csra.org/pages/events_list.php): “…28th Annual CSRA Fall Swap Meet, November 3, 2019… CSRA presents it's 28th Annual Fall Swap Meet. It will be held on November 3rd, 2019 in the Lake Compounce parking lot, 186 Enterprise Drive, Bristol, CT 06010. 6:00 AM - 3:00 PM, rain or shine. There is no pre-registration, all spots are first come first served basis. Plenty of spots available. No one has ever been turned away. Saturday set-ups are ok but no staying overnight. The parking lot is lit and secure… Saturday set-up is from 10am to 4:30pm. If you set up on Saturday you will get a pass to come back in on Sunday but will have to park in Spectator Parking. Sunday morning you must walk to your spot due to Insurance Regulations. You may NOT drive to your pre set-up area Sunday morning! You will be able to drive to your spot on Sunday afternoon after 2:00 PM to pick-up your stuff. Anyone who has to leave early must see a CSRA member for assistance… There are 3 Parts pick-up areas. CSRA Members will assist anyone picking up parts… Vendor spots are $40.00 each. Spots are 15'w x 22'lg (Example: truck & trailer may need 2-3 or more spots) please measure to see how spots are needed… Spectators $10.00 per person. Kids under 12 free… Cars for Sale $30.00 car & driver only + additional $30.00 for trailers. Also you may unload trailers on Saturday only!!!! NOT Sunday!!!!... NO PETS ALLOWED (except service animals) all other pets will be turned away with no refund!!!!... There are hotel rooms available in the area, go to Hotels-Bristol CT to find rooms… Take exit 31 off of I-84, from either direction, and follow the signs to the swap meet...
