The North Haven Police Benevolent Association hosted its 6th Annual Car Show at the North Haven High School, 221 Elm Street, North Haven, Connecticut. Rain or shine, the show was on!

Around noon, lights and sirens filled the air as members of the Eastern Vintage Police Car Association took part in the Pledge of Allegiance ceremony. Later, the EVPCA took part in a mock car chase pursuing a “Smokey and the Bandit” look-a-like Pontiac Firebird Trans-Am. The “low speed” procession left the high school grounds and entered the nearby Rt. 40 connector that extends into the Town of Hamden, then returned back to the school grounds where they received cheering and applause by the shows many spectators. Earlier in the day, rain, lightening and thunder looked like it would prevail, but around 10:00 am the rain stopped and all the show vehicles and spectators happily enjoyed the show's many festivities. In the end, the North Haven PBA could proudly say the 6th Annual Labor Day Weekend Car Show was a success. Great job guys! See you next year.
